Barry Nelson Appointed as ACTEC Chair

Barry A. Nelson, Florida Bar Certified in Taxation and Wills, Trusts and Estates, of Nelson & Nelson, P.A. located in North Miami Beach, Florida, has been appointed the Chairman of the Asset Protection Committee for the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). ACTEC is a non-profit professional organization of skilled and experienced attorneys dedicated to the understanding and improvement of the law of wills and trusts, estate planning, probate, taxation, and professional responsibility. Mr. Nelson began his three-year term as Chairman on March 3, 2009 at the Spring ACTEC meeting in Rancho Mirage, California, where he presented on the use of Intervivos QTIP Trusts for estate planning and asset protection purposes.
