Barry Nelson Presents
at the FICPA FIFT Conference Barry A. Nelson, Florida Bar Certified in Taxation and Wills, Trusts and Estates, of Nelson & Nelson, P.A. located in North Miami Beach, Florida, presented "Estate Tax Update: Recent Developments" and "Asset Protection & Estate Planning - Why Not Have Both?" at the Florida Institute on Federal Taxation Conference (FIFT) in Orlando, FL on November 13, 2009. The FIFT Conference presented by the Florida Institute of CPAs is one of the country's premier tax programs. Nationally recognized speakers present relevant and timely information to CPAs and attorneys from the southeast region. He also presented "Asset Protection for Estate Planners" at the Gulf Coast Estate Planning Conference in Mobile, Alabama on November 6, 2009. Barry A. Nelson practices estate planning, probate, asset protection and tax law. He is a president of Nelson & Nelson, P.A. located in North Miami Beach, Florida and serves as Chairman of the Asset Protection committee of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He served three years as the founding chairman of the Asset Preservation Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and as an Adjunct Professor, teaching an estate tax workshop, at the University of Miami School of Law LLM program from 1998 until 2009.
